One of the most visited museums in Barcelona is located in the center of the city, in the sensational district of Raval. It, in fact, performs the function of a “cultural laboratory”: numerous conferences, lectures and seminars are held here. The center of modern culture occupies several spaces: part of the ancient House of Charity of the XVIII century (Casa de Caritat), as well as a huge mirror building, built in 1957 by the architects Elio Pignon and Albert Vyalapa. In the latter, it’s worth to climb to the last floor (it’s called Mirador), from which you can enjoy a breathtaking view of Barcelona. In addition to numerous exhibitions and other cultural events, the center has a creative bookshop, a library on pillows with a free entrance and an art cafe.

The entrance is 5 euros.
