Tetra Hotel – the future is not far off

The hotels are classical, minimalistic, thematic, luxurious, technological, underwater, in remote corners of the planet – modern hotel industry meets the tastes of the most demanding guests. This year, there was another concept of housing, not comparable to the previous because of its unusual – the hotel of the future Tetra Hotel.

The project of the modular hotel was created by the engineers of WSP and the architects Innovation Imperative. The initiative is actively supported by the Department of International Trade of Spain. According to the idea of the builders, Tetra hotels are ideal for accommodation in the most inaccessible corners of the earth, and their creation will not cause harm to the environment. Advanced technologies allow producing environmentally friendly building materials directly on site.

Speaking of the design of future hotels, one can not but pay attention to their capsule structure, remotely resembling silkworm cocoons. Despite the fact that this “capsule” hardly touches the ground, in general, the structures are very stable due to the grouping of four blocks. Inside each of them, the architects placed a bedroom, a bathroom, a corridor and even a small office. Among the countries where it is planned to build pilot hotels Tetra Hotels, appear Spain, Andorra, Cape Verde, Canada, New Zealand and Portugal.
